WHERE IS YOUR SHOP LOCATED?
Stuffed & Tufted is located in the Harwood neighborhood of Baltimore City. I operate out of a shared warehouse, so exact location will be provided upon appointment. Please send me a message to schedule a time to come by.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
I operate and accept appointments during typical business hours (9am-5pm), but the beauty of having my own business is that I set my own schedule! I sometimes run errands during the day, so please make an appointment before coming by. I also understand that business hours don't work for everyone's schedules, and am happy to accommodate evening/weekend hours if necessary.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost of re/upholstery is contingent on a number of factors and can vary greatly on pieces of furniture that appear similar.
Pricing for your project depends on it's condition, features, and what fabric we end up choosing. Check out the HOW IT WORKS page for starting numbers to see if upholstery is for you.

DO YOU NEED TO SEE MY FURNITURE BEFORE GIVING ME AN ESTIMATE?
While I don't necessarily need to see a piece in person, I definitely need some images of your actual furniture. Sometimes it's helpful to have an in-person meeting to see the furniture, but I can usually provide an estimate based on images.
I will let you know that without X-ray vision, it is impossible to tell what is really going on inside a piece of furniture- but I am very thoughtful about writing my estimates. Should we work together, I always discuss with clients any additional work needed before moving forward.

HOW DO I SELECT A FABRIC?
I like to direct clients to my trusted fabric retailers: Charlotte, Greenhouse , and United. All three have great websites with filters to narrow what you're searching for, and offer up to 10 free samples!
I know that picking a fabric can be overwhelming, so I can point you in a direction or even do the shopping for you. If what you're looking for isn't available from these sources, we can work together to find the perfect fit.

CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN FABRIC
While I encourage clients to purchase through my trusted resources, you're welcome to provide your own fabric. I charge a $10/yard cutting fee and reserve the right to decline the fabric upon inspection if I believe it is unsuitable for upholstery application.
DO YOU PROVIDE PICKUP AND DELIVERY?
I do offer transportation for an additional cost, depending on the piece(s). Sometimes I make personal deliveries with a helper, and I also contract with a trusted third party company.
